  • Ultimately the best torrent client out there.
    After trying few clients I bumped into Azureus and was greatly surprised. Nice GUI, much information about torrent, network, and the best of all, it handels Firewall and NAT just the way it should. Theese guys knows their job. And is free.

  • I'm not what you would call a "power user" of Azureus, but I am learning quickly.
    I've tried many other programs and wasn't all that pleased with them. Since installing Azureus and reading the help and FAQ files, I've learned a lot and I'm sticking with Azureus. Everything one needs is included (or via plugin) and it works excellent. This one is a keeper and you won't know unless you try it. The Azureus crew deserve much praise, credit and support.

  • Azureus is the best bittorrent client that I've came across so far.
    It has the ability to be used by people from beginners to the very experienced. For me other clients just didn't cut it, not enough options and settings. I appreciate the work you guys do and can't imagine how you could possibly make Azureus any better.

  • Wow, Azureus is good. REALLY good! The installation went flawlessly. The setup was simple. Tweaking the app, its look and behavior are all simple, flexible, and powerful. The app is rock stable, so crashes and hangs and "weirdness" are a thing of the past. Azureus is loaded with convenience features, and tons of detail for those who want it. The app even lets you foil ISPs who throttle torrent throughput, to let you make better use of available bandwidth.
    As a developer of many years, I am impressed with Azureus.
    You folks rival top-end commercial software.

  • Azureus is the best Bit Torrent client that I ever found. It is fast, simple, and really usefully. It can be used by anyone, it has a really portable language and a nice interface. You guys, made a really excellent job. THANKS in name of all the users of Azureus. Keep going guys!!!

  • Azureus is the best bittorrent client I have found so far. I have tried many different clients and none match the speed, stability and robustness that Azureus delivers. The fact that it is open source, free, and contains NO ADWARE, makes this the obvious choice for someone looking for a bittorrent client. I donated to the project and urge everyone else to as well.

  • Azureus is really the best Bit Torrent client because it doesn't only let you download and share easily your media, but breaks the limits of the "classic" Bit Torrent client allowing you full customization, plug-ins, internal tracker, trackerless and anonymous download, XML Torrents, IRC Chat and much more.
    It's a full program written in a portable language, with the best interface I've ever seen in a Bit Torrent program. Azureus is now my reference point for Bit Torrent protocol development. Of course I use it daily to share my files!

  • This is the best and only BitTorrent client program any one should use!!!! Like so many say they have used so many other programs out there in the market and switched to Azureus, mainly because I would say the easyness, the full user function and control, and no need to read the manual to set up and start sharing!!!

  • Having used all manner of clients over the years, I keep on coming back to trusty Azureus.
    Other clients may have claims of amazing whatnot's but they don't have the rugged, reliable nature coupled with the built in security aspects of any of the later Azureus offerings.
    And I still have to find a client that has ease of use in updating, ease of use in installing and a well presented selection of plugins that serve a valuable purpose rather than have a short life use.
    Keep up the good work chaps, one well satisfied BT'er indeed.

  • When I first heard about the "new" BitTorrent craze, I was a bit skeptical because I didn't think i would like the experience with a bad program that had terrible ease of use. I tried several applications, and when I found Azureus, I STUCK WITH IT. It was incredibly easy to use. IT IS ALMOST WAY TOO CUSTOMIZABLE to even begin to decide where to start.
    It wasn't long at all until I was entirely dependant on its addictive interface. So I pulled out some cash and I made a donation to the project. HURRAY! Money well spent.
    Congratulations to the whole team. I bow to you.

  • Out of the many clients I have tested azureus is by far the best. many other clients have lots of bugs or very poorly designed interfaces, Azureus has few bugs and the best interface I have seen. Whenever anyone asks me what torrent client to use I always say Azureus because it is easy to set up and even easier to learn to use. Azureus is a fine example of a well designed application that has been built to be the best.

  • I have used plenty of BT clients including Azureus over the course of my BT experience and none.. I repeat... none match the power, ease of use, and functionality of the new 2.3 core. I was speechless when the window popped up to explain the changes. My jaw hit the floor. My first reaction was to grab the credit card and head to your donation page. I listen to everyone cry and moan about how they hate using Java and that's why they use some other client. Now I can laugh harder at what they're going to miss without the 2.3 core. Bravo. Keep up the excellent work. (Yes. I guess you can call me a fanboy, but I have reason to be.)

  • One of the most comprehensive and easy to use applications I have ever seen, and a refreshing level of quality from both the open source community and from the java application development community.
    Most utilities of this scope are quickly written, might get the job done but lack the features. This tool has anticipated every possible need I had, plus several I'd never have thought of. If all open source and java apps were of this caliber there likely wouldn't be a .net or a windows any more! (ok, maybe a stretch, but I'm telling you, this is a 1 in a 1000 for quality, ease of use yet feature laden application.)
    This might be the only testimonial I've ever written.
